Its always been on our "bucket list" to take our own boat to Lake Windermere and it didn't disappoint. It was an amazing feeling sailing Fizzy in amongst the rugged mountains of the Lake District. We stayed at the Windermere Marina Village in Bowness-on-Windermere which is at the central part of the Lake.
This video shows part one of our trip which was in August 2014 and covers our trip to the southern end of the lake.
