Free Sand & Clay from "Washing" Soil

Описание к видео Free Sand & Clay from "Washing" Soil

Harvest free sand and clay from your native soil by "washing" it with water. Mix one part soil with two parts water and let it settle to separates the particulate by size. The larger rocks and coarse sand will sink quickly, while they clay will settle more slowly in a vein above the sand. There may form a layer of silt and mud above the clay if it settles too long. If that happens just stir the mixture again. Pour off the floating organic matter and dissolved minerals onto the garden or compost pile to re-use the water. Repeat this washing process until you have clean sand or clay.
