Cartagena is a vibrant city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. It has a lot to offer, including a perfectly preserved Old Town, sunny beaches on the Caribbean Sea, and fantastic food and drinks. The mix of Colombian, African, Caribbean, and Spanish influences make this a truly remarkable food destination. Some people define Cartagena as the country's culinary capital, and we find it very hard to disagree!

Famous chefs choose this city to open up new restaurants that combine contemporary and traditional flavors, and talented mixologists in the many bars throughout the city compete to showcase their craft.

Food in Cartagena is not only about eating but the whole experience. Every place we visited not only offered fantastic food but the ambiance and décor of the restaurants were also as refreshing.
