Jack Tweed Dishes on His Relationship With Stepsons Bobby and Freddy and His Life Since Jade Goody's Death
After keeping quiet about his relationship with his stepsons Bobby and Freddy for the past 14 years, Jack Tweed, Jade Goody's widow, has finally spoken out.
When he was barely 21, Jack Tweed wed Big Brother star Jade Goody; she died a month later from cervical cancer. Jack is now 36 years old. Jack has come forward to express his love and pride for Bobby and Freddy, Jade's sons, despite the fact that he is not their biological father.
Jack Tweed said he wishes he could spend more time with Freddy and Bobby in an interview with The Mirror. He praised the father, Jeff Brazier, for his outstanding role as the youngsters' primary caregiver. Jack told me, "In my eyes and the way I care about them, I look at them as my stepsons, but I don't want to take credit for how Jeff has brought them up."
In 2002, Jeff Brazier met Jade, and by 2004, the couple already had two children together. Jack Tweed clearly admires Jeff as a parent because of the close relationship he has maintained with Bobby and Freddy. He thinks Jade would be proud of their achievements: "Jade would be over the moon at how well they're both doing."
According to Jack Tweed's recollection, he last interacted with Bobby about three or four weeks ago. He's really busy and used to live a long way from me. We communicate via third parties (such as AR James, their agents) or directly with each other. There hasn't been anything we've done on our own yet. Jack longs for a chance to reconnect with the boys on a meaningful level, the way he did when Jade was still alive.
Jack Tweed vowed that he would continue to be involved with Bobby and Freddy's lives after Jade's death, saying, "Jade would 100 million percent want me to be in their lives."
Jack Tweed has moved on from his loss of Jade Goody by falling in love with Ellie Sergeant. After nine months of dating, the couple went public with their romance last year, and now they reportedly live together in Essex.
Tragically, Jade Goody lost her fight against cervical cancer in 2009, just seven months after being diagnosed. Her eldest son, Bobby, is continuing the family legacy in the entertainment industry by competing on "Strictly Come Dancing" with his professional partner, Diane Buswell.
