Rehandling my Shibata Koutetsu Type 2 150mm Petty | Kitchen Tools

If the goal in putting a handle on your blade is to prevent moisture to the tang and to give you a surface to hold as you cut ask yourself, is epoxy as an adhesive the only way?

I used to think so, until I didn't and never used epoxy again. We rehandle my Shibata Koutetsu Type 2 150mm petty for the third time. Watch the video and see what handle we chose and what my method looked like.
