The very first thing I noticed when unboxing this cube was that it was extremely light and small. With dimensions of 58 millimeters, the Aosu V7 is noticeably smaller than the VIN, MGC, and even the WR-M. This cube weighs 98 grams, almost 20 grams lighter than the VIN cube. Whether or not you like the size of the cube does depend on personal preference, but for me it was worth getting used to for how well the cube performs.

The turning of the V7 is light, crispy and fast. Imagine a combination of the Aosu WRM and the Weilong V10. This is the first 4x4 I’ve had with good out of the box turning, which was one of my biggest problems with previous 4x4's.

One notable feature of this cube is the stock ball core and unique magnet design. Comparing the 2 track vs 3 track version, the inner layers of the 3 track version possess a significantly heavier magnet click than the 2 track inner layers. As a result, the 2 track version feels faster but is also less stable, so which version you want to buy should ultimately come down to what you prioritize in your main.

I can confidently say that this cube will be my new main, as it has already netted me several PB's and lowered my at home global to sub 25.

For those curious, my setup consists of light silicone lube on the rings and inner tracks, and a combination of Martian, Galaxy and Stardust on the pieces.

Thanks again to Moyu for sending me these cubes to try prerelease! I hope many of you will enjoy this new 4x4 just as much as I did! You can order yours at SpeedCubeShop with code BAI for 5% off your order
