On December 9, 2023, I returned to Ronks, PA to revisit the Strasburg Railroad. This weekend the railroad ran two of their steam locomotives, CN #89 and Great Western #90, which is the focus of this video. 90 ran the hourly Christmas trains and put on an excellent show. 90 showcased a fair amount of stack talk through its runs and we were lucky enough to have the sun come out for the afternoon. I chased 90 back in 2022; however, this chase was done much better. 90 is quickly closing in on its 1,472 FRA-mandated overhaul, meaning these holiday trains are likely some of the last chances to see 90 in action for a couple of years.
