Third entry in the WONDERBOY series, which originally concerned a stone age kid, and is now replaced with a pint-sized warrior of more technological means. The hero is now able to collect special weapons like spread shot, rotating shield, missiles, fireball and drill shot (hold the fire button down for awesome rapid fire). Otherwise the general trappings of the first WONDERBOY are largely here, as in jumping on moving platforms and shooting enemies while trying to reach the end of the stage. However, there are now TWO parts of a round-- the 2nd half is a flying shoot-em-up stage in which you are on a flying dragon! There is a usually tough, drawn-out boss battle at the end here. Note that your weapon power-ups don't last long-- you will need to pick up another one when it runs out (your default shot is very weak). Not only are the boss battles likely to annoy you, but there are FOURTEEN worlds to beat! Ugh.. only the first and third games were in US arcades, but many entries in the Wonderboy series had Sega Master System ports. Suggested by YouTube user Arctic Dreamers Rapture.
