HMV Monarch Model V 1912 Horn Gramophone

Описание к видео HMV Monarch Model V 1912 Horn Gramophone

Here is my HMV Monarch (Model v) with raised plinth, in Oak, complete with packing label on the underside with date of manufacture.

The machine, apart from replacement gasket in the sound box is in complete and original untouched condition.

It plays amazingly through its maroon Tinplate Morning Glory Horn, very loud and very clear.

In 1912 this cost £7 10 shillings, there were just over 2000 of these made.

Playing is Ray Noble and the New Mayfair Dance Orchestra with Al Bowlly on Vocals, Make yourself a Happiness Pie.
