DIY Long Pruning Lopper - EASY TO DO ! (part 1)

DIY Pole Pruner to thin/prune Photinia Red Robin tree (about three metres tall).
These things cost around $60+ at the shops (for the proper factory-made one!) so I decided to use the resources that I already have to make one :-)
It works a treat to cut the young/soft branches !

What you need:
Hand secateur (must be very sharp)
A long wood stake or plant stakes, garden stakes or an old broom handle eg. 1.8m long
Hose clamps
Polypropylene rope (decent thickness minimum 4mm) also 1.8m long
A small piece of wood (slightly bigger than the rope) eg. a small branch or twig
Screwdriver
