This is a difficult process to due it taking both the rights and responsibilities away from the parent. Adoption is the first method, as someone can step in and assume parental responsibility and have the right to take care of the child. The second way is court intervention if they find the parent abandoned the child for a year. The third way is if a parent was convicted of killing the other parent. Finally, the last way is if the court finds a history of parental misconduct.
