Thaumatophyllum xanadu care (formerly Philodendron)

Say it slowly with me: thau - ma - toe - phy - lum. It's no longer in the Philodendron genus because genetics revealed that it's not related enough to the other species in the genus.

If there's only one measuring tool you should get as a houseplant owner, it's a light meter - plant life depends on light but human eyes are poor judges of absolute brightness.
