When your phone constantly searches for an internet connection, it really drains your battery.

🛩 Turning on Airplane Mode (working offline) can significantly extend your battery life by cutting off those pesky, power-hungry connections. This is especially helpful if you have limited signal, for example, when working in a rural area. 🌳

Here's the process:

1. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲 – it’s as easy as a swipe and a tap.

2. 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 – collect your data without worrying about a dying battery. Our app is designed to work offline.

3. 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶-𝗙𝗶 𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 – once you're done, turn wireless back on or connect to your data to sync up all of your surveying data.

Just remember to follow these precautions before working offline 👇

Before going to the site:
✅ Ensure jobs are synced to your mobile device (this means they'll be available offline)
✅ Ensure you're logged in OK.

After the job:
✅ Be careful not to lose or break your device, as your data won't have synced.
✅ When you have enough battery, reconnect to the internet quickly to upload data.

So, whether you're offline and flying through the sky or running low on battery down on planet Earth, chucking on airplane mode will inject some extra life into your device.
