Two Month Old Shiba Inu Puppy Snoozes While Nine Month Old Norwegian Forest Kitten Snoops

When we first brought Panko back, he would sleep for 95% of the day. While this little brown loaf of bread was slow baking in the oven, his sister Tora came to snoop da whoop. She would act afraid of him, but could never get enough time observing and being with him - a behavior that continues to this day, with a little less bit of fear.

Panko (Pahn Ko), which means Breadcrumb (パン粉) in Japanese, is a purebred red Shiba Inu, and comes from a line of show dogs. He was deemed pet quality due to his overbite :( - but that's also why our breeder didn't keep him for herself, so :). Some of his unofficial nicknames (for training purposes, we don't address him with any of these), and the list has yet to grow the longer we've had him, are as follows:
