Sikles is one of the largest and most well-preserved Gurung villages in Nepal. Located in the Madi Rural Municipality of Kaski District, it sits at an elevation of approximately 1,980 meters (6,496 ft). It serves as a natural balcony providing some of the best views of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himalayan ranges.

​The Village Layout: Sikles is famous for its traditional architecture, featuring around 700 houses built with stone and tin roofs. The village is organized with stone-paved lanes and "golghars" (traditional circular or rectangular meeting spaces).
​Sikles Eco-Museum: A local museum that showcases the rich history, traditional Gurung attire, tools, and the diverse flora and fauna of the Annapurna Conservation Area (ACA).
​Rising Danda & Sikles Park: Viewpoints about a 30-minute hike from the village center. They offer panoramic views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Lamjung Himal.
​Kapuche Glacial Lake: About a 1-2 day trek from Sikles, this is the lowest altitude glacier lake in the world (2,446m), famous for its turquoise water and occasional avalanches seen from a safe distance.

​Gurung Heritage: The residents are predominantly Gurung, many of whom have histories as brave Gurkha soldiers.
