Bhargavi Venkatram talks about interesting ways to pursue different passions in life without making too many compromises. She stressed on the significance of finding a fine balance in life. Born into a family of musicians, Bhargavi stopped pursuing her musical journey at the age of 8. She rediscovered her passion in 8th grade amidst academic pressure where everyone else was giving up their affinity for extracurricular activities to focus on board exams. Ms. Bhargavi shares her experience of striking a balance between formal education and music and how that allowed her to evolve as an individual and pursue her true calling. Bhargavi Venkatram, born into a musical legacy, is a prodigious Carnatic classical vocalist mentored by the esteemed T.M. Krishna. Demonstrating exceptional musical acumen from the age of 2, she swiftly garnered recognition, winning prestigious awards such as the All India Radio national competition and the Pratibhakankshi award. Her accolades include the Kishora Prathibe Prize and the ITC Sangeeth Research Academy award. Bhargavi has graced renowned music sabhas nationwide, including The Music Academy and Narada Gana Sabha, showcasing her remarkable talent and contributing to the rich tapestry of Indian classical music.
