RUMINATIONS: Right off the bat you’ll notice the sound in this episode is… weird. And of course I made it explicitly clear everywhere I could that it was because I was trying to mic myself for the first time using a wireless clip-on microphone… and hadn’t figured out yet how to reduce the microphone volume. It ended up being more of a pain than just recording regularly, especially with the risk of it turning off or accidentally brushing against it while filming, so I dumped the idea after the one test episode. It might not be a bad idea to try again nowadays, though, since I know more about the camera, how to operate it and the microphone settings, but there really isn’t any need, since my current RODE shotgun mic works really well for picking me up. It’s not a boom mic, which is the ultimate goal for me to have sound quality on par with, saying, Phelous or Spoony, but I make steps in the right direction.

I honestly had no idea what to name the ship that would eventually be called Comicron One. I had ideas, of course, but most of them were derivatives of other shows and their ships. If I was going to create more mythology strictly within AT4W that had nothing to do with copyrighted materials, the ship would need its own unique name, but we’ll get more into that on a later date.
