Labor of love. There was once and amazing, beautiful man named Bill Garvey. After Polyrock, I was hanging around with nothing to do in say 1986? I met Bill at Danceteria, Congo Bill. We became inseparable. We eventually recorded “Goodbye Horses” for “Silence of the Lambs” (Bill’s song, I just did the wiggly guitar part lol). Before, then made a band. P.I.T.A (Patti in the Ambulance) making fun of when Patti Smith broke her neck (oops) lol… I recently received some rare footage of a rehearsal. The vocals were way too low. He always hated this video. With the new tech in my studio, I was able to isolate his vocal and finally do him justice. We never got signed because they said we were too kaleidoscopic? Which I found to be a compliment actually. I have Bill’s ashes here on my shelf right behind me. I think he’s been nudging me to “Fix it Ron!!!”. Well here ya go Babe. I miss and love you very much.
