Giving a special lecture on ‘India's Economic Resilience and Prospects Amidst A Challenging and Uncertain Global Environment’ at New York’s Columbia University, the Finance Minister highlighted how India’s role in the world is expanding and how India stands ready to engage constructively with the international community, sharing its innovations and contributing to global peace and prosperity. The FM also pointed out how IMF has projected India, currently the fifth-largest economy, to become the third-largest economy by 2027.
