Fireflylite X1L, SFT70 6,500K, LLC59R optic, candela test, and calibration test.

Got some aftermarket optics from Gaggione, for my Fireflylite X1L. Going to do a quick calibration test with two previously measured lights to make sure my Opple 3 is still reading the same as in my previous tests.

Afterwards, I test the Fireflylite X1L, SFT70 6,500K, with the LLC59R optic.

Here's my data, measured at 6.31m :

Max. lux recorded: 5,423= 215,923cd./929m

5 sec. lux: 5,195= 206,845cd./ 910m

30 sec. lux: 4,894= 194,860cd./ 883m

4.2v battery used: Vapcell T50

48mm bezel size on the X1L

Impressive candela for a 48mm bezel sized light, and nice lumen output with the SFT70 emitter. Probably one of, if not the, highest combo. of lumens and candela, that I can still fit in my front jeans pocket, if need be.

Note:

Remember that these, and manufacturer's distance/throw ratings are equivalent to 0.25 lux, which is roughly equivalent to moonlight at that distance. I like to half or even third the overall distance rating, to get a more relevant distance that will have a more useful amount of light to see things with. Opple 3 Light Master Pro was used for this test.
