Undertale: Bits and Pieces – All Bosses and Endings

Описание к видео Undertale: Bits and Pieces – All Bosses and Endings

All bosses and endings in the v4.2.4 update of Undertale: Bits and Pieces, a mod for Undertale that can be downloaded at https://gamejolt.com/games/UndertaleB...

This mod basically remasters the game. How so, you ask? By adding new areas and bosses, quality of life gameplay features, many remastered or even flat out new additions to the soundtrack, restoring cut content, and, most notably, completely and extensively rehauling 99.9% of the visuals.

The creator of this mod committed vile crimes that are detailed in the pinned comment. While I in no way support him, his actions don't change the fact that he and his team made a great mod that's worth playing.

Some bosses have remixed battle themes. My apologies if you prefer that the original versions be used, but because they're part of the mod, I decided to use them whenever possible.

Some endgame bosses have incomplete sprites. How incomplete the sprites are varies between bosses. An inquiry detailing all of the incomplete sprites can be found in the section below this one.

I understand that what can be considered a miniboss is very subjective. With that being said, my personal standards for what counts as a miniboss are as follows: the encounter in question must be a scripted one-time encounter that has unique music.

Below is a list of what I believe to be every possible character that can be considered a boss or miniboss, as well as the reason(s) for why they are not included in the video.

• Doggo, Dogi, Lesser Dog, Royal Guards, Shyren | Too uneventful and use the default battle music in the base version of Undertale.

• Glyde, Mad Mew Mew, So Sorry | Secret bosses.

• Hitch and Portabie, Mirror Frisk | Exclusive to this mod and are considerably less relevant as a result.

• Mettaton (Robot Form Encounters) | Too uneventful and hardly qualify as bosses to begin with.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before we continue, it should be noted that the terms "complete" and "incomplete" refer to sprites that are remastered and not remastered, respectively. A remastered sprite is one that has been both colorized and graphically upgraded.

• Asgore | This boss has some incomplete sprites, but is complete for the most part. Namely, his incomplete sprites are the ones for his pre-battle intro, post-battle defeated state, and trident slash attack.

• Asriel Dreemurr | The entire visual aspect of this boss is an absolute atrocity, and so much so that I'll be giving it subsections via gaps.

▪︎ Every character in the prelude has at least one incomplete sprite, and Alphys doesn't even have a remastered one to begin with, which is strange considering that she has one during the Mettaton quiz. Toriel proportions are very broken.

▪︎ Neither Asriel's first nor second phase sprite is complete. Not just that, but even the bullet board couldn't escape the tomfoolery. In the first phase, its black background has been replaced with transparency, thus making it the psychedelic one as seen on the rest of screen and making attacks somewhat harder to dodge.

▪︎ While not particularly relevant to this section of the description, I'm still going to list this here since there's no other practical place to do so. This mod does what I can only assume is restore a deleted attack from the second phase, that being a nearly unavoidable cluster of blue and orange lasers. It's obvious why it was deleted, and I personally believe that such should've remained the case.

• Sans | To end things off in an anticlimactic manner, the Sans fight, as well as the Genocide Route's ending, is complete, excluding the defeated Asgore sprite that returns from the Neutral Route.

I made this video because I couldn't find one that features every single boss, at least not one that wasn't from the Android version of this mod. Because of this, I've done my best to make this the ultimate all bosses video of said mod, having featured every final boss, midboss, and miniboss. On top of this, I consider my completions to be, more often than not, at least "pretty good" in terms of skill.

This video has several editing mistakes, the worst of them being that I referred to main bosses as midbosses. Unfortunately, these editing mistakes do not warrant a remake, seeing as this version alone took a whole day to make. Yeah, I'm probably just bad at editing, but my point still stands.
