The air was filled with excitement and a spirit of collaboration as educators, administrators, and dignitaries gathered on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, at Hotel Suvarna Comforts, BM Road, Hassan, for the Inaugural Function of the Hoysala Sahodaya School Complex (HSSC). The event marked a significant milestone in the region’s educational journey, uniting schools under the CBSE banner with the vision of “Together Towards Excellence.”

The ceremony was graced by Sri Lakhan Lal Meena, Regional Officer and Joint Secretary, CBSE, Bengaluru, who honoured the gathering as the Chief Guest. His inspiring address emphasized the need for collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to shape a more dynamic and inclusive educational ecosystem.

The inaugural session began on an auspicious note with a graceful Invocation Dance by Nethaji Public School, setting the tone for an event that blended tradition with progress. A warm Welcome Address by Dr. Nirupama followed, expressing gratitude to all the participating schools and guests. Dr. Suja then introduced the Chief Guest, highlighting his invaluable contributions to the field of education.

One of the day’s key moments was the Inauguration and Unveiling of the HSSC Social Media Platforms, symbolizing the network’s commitment to digital engagement and transparent communication. This was followed by the Installation of New Office Bearers, administered by the Chief Guest, who also led the Administration of Oath, charging the new team with responsibility and purpose.

The event also featured vibrant cultural and intellectual segments, including “Nritya Katha – The Living History of Hassan” by Jnanasagara International Public School, which enthralled the audience with its artistic portrayal of local heritage. The newly elected President, Dr Ravi Kumar L P delivered an Acceptance Speech, outlining the collective vision for the Sahodaya’s future initiatives.

The Felicitation of Principals and the Chief Guest served as a heartfelt acknowledgment of the leadership and dedication that drive educational excellence. An Interaction Session followed, offering a lively exchange of ideas and perspectives between educators and the Chief Guest — an enriching dialogue that resonated with the event’s collaborative theme.

As the day drew to a close, Mr. Madhu Kumar proposed a thoughtful Vote of Thanks, followed by a Group Photograph capturing the spirit of unity and shared achievement. The celebrations concluded on a warm and convivial note with a lunch, where participants reflected on the day’s highlights and discussed future avenues for partnership.
