Seniors Say They Went Weeks Without Hot Water

Seniors living at the Ohav Shalom Senior Apartments in Albany say they were left without hot water for weeks, forcing them to take cold showers and struggle with daily household tasks.

Longtime resident Judy Newby described her frustration.
“I had to take a cold shower to go to church. I’ve lived here for 10 years and never had these problems.”

“Great frustration, great frustration," Debra Britt, who has lived in the complex for nearly 10 years, said. "I had to take cool showers and cool shampoos—it was like being in the Girl Scouts.”
