IMF "미 연준, 내년말 전후 기준금리 올릴 필요"

The International Monetary Fund says,... it is likely that the U.S. Federal Reserve will need to start raising interest rates in late 2022 or early 2023.
Bloomberg reported Thursday that according to the IMF,... such a decision is probable as the rise in government spending will keep inflation higher than the long-run average target.
It also said the U.S. central bank is likely to scale back asset purchases in the first half of next year.
The IMF advised that for this transition,... "deft communications under a potentially tight timeline" will be required.
