The team went undefeated and won the tournament. Parents took their girls out of the competition due to safety concerns and they said they were not even warned .The team is backed by Pride Football Australia, an advocacy group for LBGTQ+ footballers. The group started their own league but now they are advocating for transgender players to play in women's tournaments.
