f you’ve made a Deep Research report in Google Gemini and can’t figure out how to export the entire document — including images — to a Word document or PDF, this video shows how to do it.

In Gemini Deep Research, you’ll see an export button that says “Export menu.” A lot of people assume that means the document can’t actually be exported. In reality, that’s the button you want to use.

Once you export the research to Google Docs, you can then save the file as a PDF, Word document, or any other format you need.

One thing that makes this confusing is the zoom level. Depending on how zoomed in you are, Gemini may limit what options you can see, or the labeling may not be clear. For many people — including me — that’s the main reason this feels broken at first. If you zoom out, more options may appear, or the export option becomes easier to understand.
