The Senate Defense Appropriations Subcommittee holds an open briefing on the suspected Chinese spy balloon. The House is expected to vote Thursday on a resolution condemning China’s use of the surveillance balloon over the United States.

Biden administration's witnesses testifying at the hearing include: Melissa Dalton, Department of Defense; Jedidiah Royal, Department of Defense; Vice Admiral Sara Joyner, Joint Staff (J8); and Lieutenant General Douglas Sims II, Joint Staff (J3).
