Lahiri Mahasaya

Lahiri Mahasaya (1828-1895) was an Indian Yogi and Guru who was a key Figure in the Renaissance of Yoga in Modern India.
He is also Commonly Known as Yogiraj and Kashi Baba,Though he was born Shyama Charan Lahiri,a Member of the Brahmin Caste.

Lahiri Mahasaya Spread the Teachings of Kriya Yoga,Which were Passed on to him from his Guru,Babaji.Babaji Recognized That Lahiri’s Role was to Pass on the Messages of Kriya Yoga to the World.Central to his Teachings were inner Pranayama Practices,which he Believed Would Give Students Accelerated Spiritual Growth and a Direct Experience of the Truth.

Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr.Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee.

Mahamahopadhyaya Yogacharya Dr. Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee was born on 24th December 1933 in West Bengal. The sudden demise of his mother when he was away in service intensely agonized him. He grew averse to material pursuits and became spiritually inclined.

He received initiation in Kriyayoga in April 1961. He reached the pinnacle of Kriyayoga within a short span. He was invited as sole representative from India to participate and mediate in the Parliament of World Religions held at Val St. Hugon, France in 1997 convened by Dalai Lama and sponsored by UNO, UNESCO, UNCHR. At this Parliament of World Religions, he upheld the tenets of Sanatana yogadharma to the world with a clarion voice. His brilliant exegesis on the subject of love, peace and solidarity - 'ONE WORLD, ONE RELIGION, ONE GOD, ONE MAN' at The Parliament of World Religions received tumultuous applause. French newspapers commented on him to be 'wise worthy dignified sage' 'a seer'a visionary' etc. In retrospect of above event, UTO (United Traditions Organisation), a philosophical wing of UNO selected Dr. Chatterjee to become an honourable member (first Indian member) of their organisation to promote the universal worth --- a global everlasting peace through his dissertations and literature. Also, Tirupati Sanskrit University, Andhra Pradesh, India has first conferred him Honorary Vacaspati (D.Litt.) and subsequently, He was conferred 'Lifetime Achievement Award' . He has founded Spiritual Centres at West Bengal with the objective that mankind can derive the Kriyayoga revived by Yogiraj.

He has organized philanthropic activities through these centres. To further Yogiraj-conciousness he has traveled throughout India and many places in Orient and Occident. People irrespective of caste, creed, color, nation, language, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, untouchables, renouncers, are all coming under his aegis and are finding in him their haven and panacea for all evils. His objective is not to make man any more deflect but to reorient and bind them towards the infallible intrinsic Kriyayoga Avenue. He has given declining Kriyayoga a push. His objective to usher humanity into the zenith of Satyayuga (Golden Age) when all dichotomies, tension, discord will cease and halcyon days be reinstated will soon be effected.


This cycle has been Conceived by None other than the Inimitable Mahamahopadhyay Yogacharya Dr.Ashoke Kumar Chatterjee.
