BILLY CARLSON'S INSANE GAME | 15 DI COMMITS | Corona vs Aquinas (CIF Semi-Finals DI)

Insane HS baseball matchup featuring two of the top 15 teams in California, one of which being #2 nationally ranked Corona HS. Per Perfect Game, there were 15 current D1 commits (and more on the way) between the 2 powerhouses. A game that was all Corona through 5 got close over the last two frames. Ethan Schiefelbein woke up under the weather, but still took the mound for Corona and dominated a very good Aquinas lineup. Billy Carlson went deep twice and collected the save for the Panthers, as the junior looks like one of the top prospect for 2025's MLB Draft. Corona will take on Huntington Beach in CIF D1 Semifinal on Tuesday, 5/14 @ 3:15pm.
