The video is from Sunday the 25th - Steve Webb Wobbles and Models and Flying Mate John R flying their Boomerang Jets. Actually it's landing Boomerang Jets in a gusty cross wind. Johns landing was the perfect cross wind landing while my mine (Steve's) was a little on the lucky side. First the Red Boomer comes in cross wind like John, but with not enough flap and so Overshoot was called a little late. Lucky, given the spool uptime and speed of the model. Not something to repeat, a little too bold

Then the next landing, coming on still cross wind but no longer a 90 degree wind to get the Jet slowed down. The strip suddenly appears very small to take a Jet across the middle. The grass is so short with the good mowing that models do roll good now, but this was too close before the roll out!

An undignified flare out and 2 in one bumpy landing comes to a stop by the fence that separates the club viewing area from the flight line. Very amusing, but a little closer than intended.
