Learn to Play '23 - Introduction to Double Bass with Chi-chi Nwanoku

Music for All Ambassador Chi-chi Nwanoku CBE took time out of her busy RAM and Chineke! work to record an introduction to the double bass!

An ex-sprinter, Chi-chi Nwanoku CBE has gained a reputation as one of the finest exponents of her instrument.

Founder, Artistic and Executive Director of the Chineke! Foundation, which supports, inspires and encourages Black, Asian and ethnically diverse classical musicians working in the UK and Europe through its two orchestras and educational and Community engagement work.

A Founding member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Chi-chi held the position of Principal double bass there for 30 years. She is now professor of Double Bass Historical Studies at the Royal Academy of Music.
