This tells the story of love, betrayal, death, grief, and heartache, Cloud's determination to save his child and the battle between Sephiroth and Cloud and his struggle to save and protect both of their children caught in the middle one Cloud protected and one he wished he could have protected more, from the father who once saw him as a gift but turned him into a weapon to be used by him to exact his revenge and thus history repeats itself once more.
