Life at Bowlers Opening Night - 25th April 1992

After the hugely successful Pleasuredrome nights in Farnworth, UK sadly ended in February 1992, we needed a new venue to continue the party!

The venue chosen was the enormous Bowlers Exhibition Centre, situated in Trafford Park, Manchester. This venue has a 4000+ capacity and was the perfect spot to take what we had created at the Pleasuredrome and continue the party.

On the 25th of April 1992 'Life @ Bowlers' was born!

The opening night saw DJ Welly take the reigns once again, alongside Kenny Grogan and DJ JT, MC Bibbi & MC Dredd were the hosts for the night and we also had a very special guest appearance by the one and only Carl Cox, plus a PA from Toxic Two.

Over 4000 people attended the very first night at Bowlers back in April 1992, and to this day the legacy created at the Pleasuredrome and the early nights at Bowlers continues to draw huge crowds to the venue, where revelers celebrate the music that defined a generation.

This footage was shot on a camcorder back in 1992, so the footage isn't great, but it's the only footage from that legendary night!
