A heavy band of lake effect snow has caused significant issues across the Buffalo southtowns tonight. Snow rates over 2"/hour have led to rapid accumulation. Cars can be seen stuck in the road due to the deep snow, plows are trying to keep roads clear but they cannot keep up with the rates. Very strong winds have led to intense blowing snow as well, greatly reducing visibilites. Blizzard conditions can be observed at times across the area. Snow will continue into Sunday.
