Lily of the Valley - how to grow/convallaria majalis/toxic/invasive plant

Описание к видео Lily of the Valley - how to grow/convallaria majalis/toxic/invasive plant

This tiny little beauty! These flowers have got to be some of the most FRAGRANT flowers for their size. The entire plant is very toxic, and should never be consumed.
Lily of the Valley is also highly invasive if not tended to properly.
I have cut 5 gallon plastic buckets cross-sectionally to create round barriers for plants, so that is an option to stop the spreading rhizomes.
You can also use long rubber fencing to stop those rhizomes in their tracks.
Despite their toxicity and invasive growing habit, lily of the valley is SO beautiful to have in your garden. The tiny, delicate flowers also make beautiful, fragrant bouquets!

Let me know if you have any more questions about this plant!
