Proteus is a fun generative sequencer with a quirky side; it will run out of patience with your melodies periodically and will re-generate them! Proteus is a great way to stumble upon happy accidents - little melodies and grooves that give you inspiration for a new track, a hook for a bassline, or a new lead line.

There are no hidden modes or button combos, everything is knob-per-function and also CV controllable. This makes it ideal to patch with other modules in your setup.

And for the micro-tonal fans out there Proteus supports user defined scales using Scala files which allow you to get away from traditional Western tuning and explore the wider world of microtonal scales!

In this video I explain how Proteus works, and give you some tips and tricks for making music with it. Like all generative modules a little goes a long way!
