One area ripe for automation is payment reminders. In Zoho Books, you can choose who to remind and how many days before or after the due date they should be reminded. You can also automate accounts payable by setting up reminders for bills that you have received. Similar to invoice reminders, you can configure when to receive the bill payment reminder and whom to send it to in your business.

More technically-minded business owners can also create custom functions in Zoho Books to automate workflow, which can be coded using Zoho’s scripting language called Deluge.
