Karnataka election results 2023 will be declared today, 13th May, Saturday, three days after voting to elect the state Assembly's 224 members is completed. Karnataka voted peacefully, with a voting turnout of 73.19 per cent, exceeding the 72.36 per cent recorded in 2018. In the 224-member Karnataka assembly, a party needs 113 seats to form a majority.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won Karnataka in 2018 with a two-thirds majority, but this time around, they are fighting against strong opposition. The Congress party has been in power since 2013 and has made many decisions that have led to a dip in the state’s economic growth. However, it is still expected that BJP will win the polls again as they have done so many times before.
