Ah Talen-Jei, you beautiful ballsy bastard. Rounding out the third and final cocktail in our little Talen-Jei trilogy, the White-Gold Tower isn't just one of Talen-Jei's simpler drinks, but also his most political.

The White-Gold Tower itself is a symbol not only of the Empire, but of Thalmor oppression - the White-Gold Concordat is what helped kick off the civil war in Skyrim in the first place, which forms the backdrop of the Elder Scrolls V game. Given that many Nords felt dishonored by the Empire's signing of the treaty, to offer a drink called the White-Gold Tower - in a Nordic town no less - is a gutsy move on Talen-Jei's behalf, especially given that he is an Argonian himself.

However, we're glad he whipped it up! This thing is beautiful. It's thick and creamy and sweet, definitely a dessert drink to come after any meal. You might not want to drink too many of these given how rich they are, but by golly will that first sip blow you away.

Just so long as you can get that damn layering right...

INGREDIENTS

3 oz Honey Wine
1 oz Honey Liqueur
0.5 oz Honey-Lavender Simple Syrup
1-ish oz Double Cream

HONEY-LAVENDER SIMPLE SYRUP

Half cup Water
Half cup Liquid Honey
2 tsp Culinary Lavender

Pour both ingredients into a saucepan, heat gently until honey is dissolved. Next add couple teaspoons culinary (no bug spray) lavender, remove from heat, allow to cool, strain out lavender bits, use in recipe.
