Описание к видео Vincent Black Lightning - written by Richard Thompson - performed by The Unsung Heroes

This song, written by British guitarist and songwriter Richard Thompson, has been labeled a "top 100 All TIME song" by (who knew) Time Magazine. Regardless of how one can apply a specific historical rating to any song out of the extensive annals and multiple genres of musical history, we just think it's a good'n and we enjoy playing it.

It's a complicated love story about a bad man's passion divided equally between a classic black motorcycle and a fetching red head in black leather who, in the the final chapter, end up coming together... the girl and the bike, that is. This song has been done by a lot of different people in a few different styles. We just play it the way we feel it and give it our own treatment.

This song fits the format well of the kind of material we love to play; songs that may find critical acclaim and have cult-like fans, but are also songs that have somehow avoided the kind of popularity we believe it should receive. So we're simply applying the folk process of keeping a good song in the public consciousness... even if lots of other folks have done it before us. We hope you like it.

And if you do like it and if you would also like to see more videos of this nature by this band, please help promote our Youtube page by subscribing to our page and also 'liking' this offering. It doesn't cost anything and it helps us gain more attention and helps you know when the next one comes out.

The Unsung Heroes consists of:

Rick Watson - vocals and (primarily) guitar
Todd Roberston - vocals and bass, with the occasional guitar or trumpet performance
Rob Kneeland - vocals and drums, along with some tasty mandolin and guitar (Levon style)
Bruce Derr - vocals and pedal steel, but also slings some mean guitar and bass
