In this video, Danny Francisco, RDOS Information Systems Manager provides an overview of electronic meeting technology.

During the global pandemic, many local governments began exploring new technologies to host interactive meetings online. The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) transformed its boardroom into a functional studio using advanced camera, audio, and smartboard technology. As a result, rural and municipal directors, delegates, and RDOS staff are now able to participate in board meetings virtually and in person. RDOS board and committee meetings are also broadcast live on YouTube.
