Join us on an adventure to Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote, The Canary Islands.

This tour was that good I did it twice back to back days aswell!

This was part of The Lanzarote Grand Tour and is one of the best tours and is a chance to see the best of Lanzarote from North to South. This full Lanzarote tour takes you to the best Lanzarote attractions in the North and South of the island including Timanfaya National Park. This is by far the my favourite part of Lanzarote!

The drive to Timanfaya is spectacular (from afar or up close) The road that leads you there is like you are in a movie!

First up is an optional Camel Ride, now we didn't opt in for this but was great to people watch as they had fun make there way up! The Timanfaya Camels are fascinating creatures are available for you to take a ride up the volcano. One camel takes two people and you'll certainly feel like Laurence of Arabia as you take the fun ride through the perfect landscape. The camels work in shifts and teams and are very well looked after.

Next up we head to the centre of the fire mountain, you can see the geothermal experiments. Watch in amazement as they throw hay and straw into a crater hole and it bursts into flames due to the intense heat. Stand back and gasp as they pour water down smaller holes and it boils instantly and shoots into the air with a bang. Get to feel the heat from the ground as they hand over pebbles that are erm hot haha, plus there is a restaraunt and they cook chicken from the actual heat of the Volcano!

Then last but not least we Take the Luna route for the most spectacular drive through volcano experience! Right into the heart of the Timanfaya National Park. See the breathtaking colours and shades of the rocks, take in the sulfur smells and imagine the time where the volcano erupted, be fascinated by some interesting information about the whole event as told by your very informative guide. Plus fantastic sound effects and dramatic music to really enhance your experience, it was just WOW!
