St. Stephen's Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honor of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c. 975–1038), whose right hand is housed in the reliquary.
Today, it is the third largest church building in present-day Hungary. It is the largest church in Budapest and a significant historical landmark within the city's UNESCO World Heritage Site Buffer Zone. Construction commenced in 1851 and continued for fifty-four years. Work was completed in 1905 by József Kauser. Length 87.4 meters. Width 55 meters. Tower height 79 meters. Dome height 96 m
