'Plastic Free July' is just a couple of weeks away. One of the main on-going sources of waste I want to tackle, is the one related to my period. Every month I send 'menstrual pads' to the landfill, and the thought of knowing that the first pad I ever send to the landfill (many years ago) is still out there, made me want to change the habit of using disposable pads for a more sustainable one. There's nothing I can do to change the choices I've made in the past, but I can definitely make better choices from now on.

I though on sharing the unboxing of my newly acquired 'Modibodi Period Underwear' to tackle my 'period waste'. I have tried a 'menstrual cup' before, but I didn't feel comfortable with it. And I needed something that was more similar to pads. Hence... period undies!

I am new at making videos and posting them, so please let me know in the comments below, what could I improve and what kind of content you'd like to see related to my journey.

Also, I am usually more comfortable speaking in Spanish (which is my first language) so bare with me as I try to explain some things in English :P It can be quite challenging some times!
