It works to open the door to new possibilities because it is simple, yet often counter-intuitive, and requires perseverance, patience, and creative problem solving. Divergent thinking allows us to generate creative ideas, redefine what's possible, and explore different ways of living life and solving problems. The two go hand in hand.
