City Update #58 - Pirate Mountain Update!

Finally an update! This project has become so time and part intensive! But I'm really happy with how this is shaping up. This is about 1/4-1/3 the way done... lots more slopes and bricks and foliage to put down. So far I've only got 2 of the five original Ominous Isle islands worked in, so I still need to get them worked in. I'm also planning to work in some of the classic Pirate (including Islanders) sets thorough the mountain. I've already started to work in some of the islander "statues" into the rock work and more of that to come for sure. I might also sneak a rock monster or two into this and maybe one classic movie reference...

A lot of the lighting parts for this project have come from Brickstuff. I've used their flicker board and expansions and their new cannon effect lighting. I'm very excited to keep adding more of all of that into this!

My name is Travis and I'm an AFOL! I've been serious collecting Lego since 2021. I collect a little bit of everything from Star Wars to Fabuland to Pirates to CMFs. My biggest continual project is my city. The city is currently about 112 baseplates and always in constant evolution. When I started out with the city it was 21 baseplates and I never imagined when I started it would grow to this size. My collection has quickly overtaken my office that I now call the Lego Room. My favorite themes are Vidiyo, Dreamzzz, CMFs, Pirates, and anything I can use in my city.
