Lufthansa A320neo Gets De-Iced Before Take Off From Manchester Airport - December 2018

On a cold december evening, we ventured up to the top of terminal 1's multi storey car park. it over looks gates at terminal 1 and 2, and gives great vantage points of the apron.

The Lufthansa A320 neo in question, D-AINO, was performing flight LH947 to Frankfurt, FRA, Germany, when the captain asked to be de-iced. The de icing truck came and de-iced all of the flight control surfaces to make sure it was safe for their journey.
