Station’s of the Eden Valley (Part 3) - Kirkby Stephen & Appleby (30th June & 9th July 2022)

Hello Everyone, here is the third and final video in the series covering Station’s of the Eden Valley. I began my journey at Kirkby Stephen before moving onto Appleby in Westmorland. These traditional market towns were full of interest, tradition and charm, with a wide selection of individual and interesting shops and galleries. Both station’s are located on the Settle to Carlisle line with their distinctive midland red architectural design. From a railway enthusiasts perspective the station’s that I visited along this line have all been beautifully preserved and presented and it was a pleasure spending some quality time learning more about their history. I was also encouraged to learn that the line’s future would appear to be more secure now than at any time in the past. I hope you enjoy the video.
