I often hear that people struggle with what to wear when they attend let’s say a luxury 5 star hotel for dinner so in this video I give you some style inspiration that I hope you find useful and it is worth noting the dress code of each individual place and for the restaurant you have reservations for as each individual restaurant in the hotel can have different dress codes.

So I start off with a basic white tee from h and m - so simple so clean and works really well under a blazer for a crisp clean smart casual look. I opt for some dark wash flared denim jeans from river island as I think they are more appropriate for the evening if you opt for jeans (obviously you must check the dres code of the place you are dining at as jeans might not be permitted (such as the Ritz)

I keep the jewellery also quite simple some Chanel earrings a tennis bracelet and my wedding rings. I’m not into the whole bracelet stack look and and much prefer a more simple elegant wrist in terms of jewellery I. E one piece with a nice watch. I would love a nice watch such as a chopard or Cartier -hopefully one day.

I love this Chanel belt so classic. You probably will get bored of it as I wear it so much and show it in nearly every video - but it just goes to show that if you go for timeless and classic colours and pieces you will reach for them all the time as they will compliment each outfit beautifully all the time with out fail!

I opt for a navy blazer from Reiss - I think navy is a great alternative to black and compliments white and dark wash denim so beautifully! It’s a fitted smart double breasted blazer and really provides a flattering silhouette when paired with flared denim jeans and a nice kitten heel which will elongate your legs and provide a feminine silhouette! I opt for these black manolo blahnik mules - again I wear these quite a lot so simple and classic and a small heel - harder to walk in as they don’t have a securing at the back and they are open but I just think if your not walking a lot they look so elegant and work really well with ankle length and cropped trousers and also skirts and dresses as they show more of your foot so look more elegant and feminine.

I don’t really own any clutch bags so I use my Chanel wallet on chain as a clutch it also can look really elegant and evening appropriate when you wear it off the shoulder with the chain as the chain adds extra interest to the whole outfit.

We arrive at the madarin oriental Hyde park Knightsbridge - it’s a luxury 5 star hotel- it’s such a spectacular building the articulate I believe is in an Edwardian style. As you enter you are invited into a marble and ornate detailed lobby and a roaring fire with beautiful detailing. The Christmas decorations were simply exquisite!

We had dinner in the Roseberrynwhete they do afternoon tea, all day dining and breakfast. It’s a relaxed vibe not too formal and it’s a home away from home but in such an exquisite and elegant setting with beautiful panelling and ornate ceiling and a grand fireplace!

It really is a place where timeless elegance meets contemporary luxury. The location is ideal with it being situated in Knightsbridge and to the rear it is situated on the royal park (Hyde Park).

We requested the table next to the crackling roaring fire and it was such a relaxed environment in the true elegance of the roseberry.

From the roseberry you have viewes of Sloane street which was lined and adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations.

They also sell cakes made by their award winning pastry team - they specialise in decadent cakes patisserie’s which look delectable. You can take them away or enjoy them in the elegance of The Roseberry.

The Christmas decorations in the mandarin so tasteful and not over the top but elegant and capturing the timeless elegance and beautiful details of the mandarin oriental.

I always love to sit back and take it all in and appreciate all the finer details the impeccable service and the ornate grandeur



Wherever I can I always opt to sit close to a roaring fireplace it feels so intimate and cosy and relaxing adding to the beauty of the elegance of the room

They dimmed the lighting to create mood lighting which created a lovely cosy atmosphere wishing a very grand setting

As you can see it’s a very simple classic outfit I let the tailoring and structure of the blazer and the flattering shape of denim flaredjeans and shape do all the talking.

Being welcomed in by a crackling roaring fire in the lobby is so unique and inviting

To soak up the true atmosphere and feel of the hotel I would advise dining in one the lobby restaurants or a restaurant that is within the main hotel building.
