It was the most emotional election Silicon Valley had seen in over 30 years. It was the first time a California Judge was recalled in over 82 years. The debate pitted feminist against feminist, victim against victim and paralyzed the men into silence. Lawyers and Judges rallied donations. Moms and victim advocates marched through the upscale neighborhoods of Los Altos, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill and Palo Alto placing yard signs in support of a recall. But in the end, the issues that led to the recall remain and Silicon Valley's legal community is more divided from the public than ever before. Some are even claiming the Judge Persky was the perfect political victim of the #metoo movement.
